Los Angeles based singer/songwriter KATJA GLIESON is an exciting new voice on the pop music scene! Her original music has been described as raw and brutally honest progressive pop.

KATJA just released a video for her song ‘Ride The Wave,’ which has gotten rave reviews for its artistic feel. This follows the very successful debut of ‘I Would Kill,’ which premiered exclusively on Hollywire. In less than a week, the song had nearly half a million views! It’s also been featured on MTV Hits Fresh Faces and been picked up by the largest record pools and some of most popular Spotify playlists in the country.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, KATJA first gained recognition for playing ‘Elsa’ in the hugely popular viral video ‘Princess Rap Battle’, which has over 120 million views on YouTube.

KATJA has performed to massive crowds around the U.S., at various major festivals and has a large social media following. She’s verified on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram and was the first artist on Periscope to reach 20 million hearts and 100K followers. KATJA has partnered with Doctors Hospital of Augusta to release “Shooting Star,” a song about being healthy and empowering yourself. This campaign has cementing her as an anti-bullying and healthy living advocate. As part of the campaign, she visited Augusta, GA and presented a ‘Shooting Star’ award for iHeartRadio, appeared on the local FOX and ABC stations, and was the headline performer at the 2016 Relay For Life.

KATJA is a powerful voice and advocate for those who are going through struggles in life, and she works with a number of charities and organizations. She’s committed to sharing her story and past of bullying, abuse and obesity. When she was just 9 years old KATJA weighed 200 pounds.
